M/V Antarctic Dream (ice-strengthened) was built in the Netherlands and operated as M/V Piloto Pardo by the Chilean Navy, until it was thoroughly rebuilt as passenger vessel in 2004 for operations in Antarctica with Chilean crew. It complies with all rules of SOLAS incl. sprinkler systems, water treatment, etc.
The vessel offers accommodation for 84 passengers. All cabins are twin and feature private toilet and shower. There are 4 suites, 6 superior cabins and 29 twin private cabins all with either portholes or windows and either two separate lower beds or queen beds. Additionally there are 3 twin private inside cabins without portholes or windows. All cabins have a desk, closed circuit TV, and inter-cabin phone service. Satellite email and phone service is available in the library.
