Tanzania has unrivalled tourist attractions in its glorious game parks, the Indian Ocean coast, and a fascinating history embracing the earliest relics of man's evolution, the exotic influence of Zanzibar, early explorers, and the colonial presence of the Germans and British, which began over a century ago. Add to this, Mount Kilimanjaro, Ngorogoro Crater, the Serengeti with its annual migration along with many National Parks and you have a spectacular safari holiday destination.
Climate & Weather
The areas you will be touring on safari in Kenya lie so close to the Equator that the variation in temperature is quite negligible. As a large section of the savannah lies in the highlands (1500-2000 m ASL) one can expect relatively cold nights down to 10 degrees Celsius in the winter season (June, July & August) and a minimum temperature of 23 degrees Celsius during the day. |

During the hot season (November, December, January & February) temperatures can rise to between 30-35 degrees Celsius during the day. The coastal areas have however a very hot and humid climate all year round. |
When to go
If you want to avoid the rains its best to go between May and October but Tanzania has much to offer all year round. The Wildebeest migration occurs in JUne and July.
